Music
Throughout the Bible, God instructs us to worship Him through song.  God created us as His companions, and gave us voices and talents that are intended to bring glory to Him.  Each of us, regardless of talent or training, is an instrument of praise.  We grow in our walk with Christ through prayer, study of the scriptures, and worshiping together with our fellow believers.  Through the hymns and songs of worship, we draw nearer to God as a congregation by glorifying our one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Members of the choirs at First Baptist Church of Mebane give their time and talent to lead others in worship.  Our leaders provide instruction and training to all age groups and in a wide variety of musical styles.  Whether you prefer the simple, stirring sounds of the Handbells, the energy of the Praise Team or the splendor of the Chancel Choir, there is a place for you to serve in the Music Ministry at First Baptist Church of Mebane.  It is our prayer that you would join us in practice and, as Psalm 95:1 says, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation."

Music Updates
The Adult Choir and Praise Team shares its ministry throughout the community and beyond.   They are always looking for new voices for the group.  If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to use the gift that God has blessed you with, the Adult Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm and the Praise Team rehearses on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.  Hope to see you there!
