Terry Farmer came to FBC Mebane in June of 1994 as Senior Pastor. Having served churches in North Carolina and Texas a total of 27 years, he is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Dr. Farmer has a missionary heart and believes that we are all called and gifted for a special purpose. His wife, Marian, holds a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from Texas Woman's University and is currently employed by the Alamance Burlington School System. They have 4 grown children; daughter Vivian, who lives with her family in Seattle, daughter Nina Ashley and her husband live in Stem, NC, son Will and his wife of Raleigh, and daughter Lea, who lives in Cary, NC with her husband, and two granddaughters, both of Seattle.
Tripp Foltz joined the FBC Mebane staff in January 2002. He is a graduate of Louisburg College with an Associate of Arts degree and a graduate of Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in April 2000 and received the Master of Arts in Christian Education from Campbell University Divinity School in May 2005. His Christian ministry began as a lay leader at Salem Baptist church in Apex, NC, where he served for almost four years as a Sunday School teacher and Youth leader. Tripp served at Poston Baptist Church in Wallace, NC, as the Youth and Children's Minister for three years prior to joining FBC Mebane.Tripp offers guidance in the Youth and Children's Ministries and serves on various committees. He also serves as the chaplain to the Eastern Alamance High School football teams. His love of sports and young people carries over into the city recreation league where he also enjoys serving as a softball coach. Tripp's family includes his wife Sheila and two daughters, Sydni and Samantha.
