Manna Market Report:
After another good turn out for the April Manna Market we need pretty much everything. All donations are greatly appreciated which help keep our food pantry filled with food for families in need, especially at this time of crisis during the COVID-19 Pandemic
We stand in need of everything EXCEPT… Corn, Baking Mix (you good folks got us in good shape with the mix), Pancake Syrup is good also.
The bins to drop off food donations will continue to be put out Tues. 9am-12 noon and Thurs. 4pm to 6pm.
May God bless all of you for your kindness in sharing with others less fortunate.
Update from New Bern:
Yesterday, I called the Baptist On Mission site in New Bern to check in with Chris, Joy, Tammy, Mark, and Tony to let them know we are still praying for them and anticipating a Disaster Relief trip there when God opens that door for us to go.
Even though the site remains closed for now and will be closed on the date we had planned, volunteers can still go, but just for the day. No overnight stays are allowed. Those who live nearby, those who have camper trailers, or those who can stay in nearby motels can still go and serve. Each Team is limited to 4 volunteers each, and of course, social distancing is required.
I’ll keep in touch with Joy to see when they will officially open again. Even though we’re having to postpone our trip, it’s NOT CANCELLED, it’s just delayed until God is ready for us to go!
I’m praying for each of you that our Lord will bless you during these days, and that your relationship with Him will be strengthened more and more each day
