Notes from Nita,
I Corinthians 1: 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Paul was writing the church of Corinth because there was trouble among the members. Arguments and discontent. How very happy I am that the members of our church and the JOY Seniors would not have to receive such a letter. On our most recent trip to Sanford to see Oliver at the Temple Theatre and at lunch at Mrs. Lacy’s Magnolia Tea House, I heard only happy chatter and expressions of how great everything was. I hope all of you who did not go, will join us in the future.
We have the following opportunities for you (50 yrs. & up) to come join us for our lunches. trips, and visits with our Senior Treasures (our seniors who are having health issues and those who are usually called shut-ins.). Our Christian fellowship grows as we serve together. A big THANK YOU to Tony Modlin for sharing his talent with us at our Sept. lunch. The arrangements were beautiful and you made it all look so easy.
