We have an 8:30 Service which is more of a Traditional Sunday Service. There is
a full choir that sings songs from the Hymnals. The sermon is brought to us from Pastor Sammy.
We have this service each Sunday in the Sanctuary. There are hosts at all of the entrances,
so that if you need any help finding anything, they are there to assist you. We would love to have you come and worship with us.
Following the 8:30 Traditional Service, we have Small Group Bible Studies at 9:45am each Sunday. There are classes designed to fit
each and every one, just look at the list under the ministry tab to see which one may interest you.
If you get here, we’ll find you the place best suited for you and your age group. We would love to
have each and everyone join, as all are invited!
We have a more Contemporary Style of worship at 11 am each Sunday. We have a Praise and Worship Team that
perform many of the songs that you hear on K LOVE. It is followed also by a message from Pastor Sammy.
It is a great service, and an even greater way to start your week! Come join us for Praise and Worship, we would love to
have you as all are welcome!

FBCM is blessed with an active women’s mission organization. We invite your participation and welcome your ideas about serving our mighty Lord.
We partner with WMUNC located in Raleigh, NC and with the Mt. Zion Baptist Association located in Burlington, NC in Alamance County.
Who Are We?
Christian women across the world teach, inform and inspire those around them to influence the world for Christ through Women on Mission, Girls in Action (GA’s), Mission Friends, and Royal Ambassadors (RA’s for boys) groups.
Why Do It?
Christians follow God’s command to tell others about Jesus –
” Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28: 19
What We Do!
Through a variety of activities – Bible study, prayer devotionals, multiple monthly mission projects and outreach – each group offers opportunities and resources to learn about and be involved with missions in our everyday lives. There is something for everyone in missions!
There is so much more about all of the different things in WMU if you go to the link Women’s Missions inside of this tab! Come and join us!
We work hard at First Baptist to make our Children’s Ministry a safe place for all kids to learn about Jesus, fellowship with one another, and have fun! We are equipped to meet the needs of children with different abilities and welcome all children to join our family! We strive to teach our children how to show love like Jesus, to be kind, obedient, and compassionate.
On Sunday mornings, we have a pre-school (3s-4s) and a Kindergarten-5th grade Sunday School class from 9:45-10:45am. Each month we have a different theme with a corresponding memory verse, Bible stories, worship through music and dancing, and engaging activities.
During the 11:00 service, we offer nursery for the babies, Children’s Church for 3 and 4 year olds, and Kid’s Church for Kindergarten-2nd graders, as well as 3rd-5th graders.
On Wednesday nights, we all enjoy dinner together from 5:45-6:30 and then while the grown-ups are in their Bible Study, the kids go to fellowship, worship, and learn in the Grove. August-May we have “Mission Friends,” “Royal Ambassadors” for our boys, and “Girls in Action” for our girls. In the summer months, we have a class for the kids 4 and under, and a Kindergarten- 5th grade class. We spend time in prayer, worship through music and dancing, and study the bible through listening to stories, crafts, movement, and other activities.
We also have a Cherub and Children’s Choir that practice on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings during Sunday School.
If you have any questions about our children’s ministries, you can contact Julie McCauley at email@example.com.
