Operation Inasmuch

        

" . . . Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren,  

         ye have done it unto me."  (Matthew 25:40)

The concept for Operation Inasmuch began in the heart of a fellow Baptist pastor at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC.  In his hometown, the pastor observed many opportunities to serve others in the name of Christ.  Coming across the passage of scripture in Matthew, he preached a series of sermons on how the church should share the Gospel not in word only, but with their actions.  This led to the formation of Operation Inasmuch. After observing Operation Inasmuch in action, First Baptist Church of Mebane adopted it as a means to reach out and touch people in our community with a variety of needs and with the Gospel.  We seek to serve God by serving others as we participate in Operation Inasmuch twice a year, in the fall and the spring.  We invite you to join us and find that God will use you to make a blessing for someone else.
