Our Youth Ministry at First Baptist church of Mebane has many opportunities to offer our Middle and High School students as they grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Teaching your youth to live life with Jesus and to serve His kingdom every day is our goal at First Baptist Church. We try to accomplish this by offering several different styles of devotions and Bible studies each week to learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ, and then we give our students many opportunities to apply the lessons learned in the "real world" as they join us on our monthly trips and events, which include day trips, sporting events, retreats, and mission activities. Starting in Septemeber 2011, Sunday School gets real and will be all about conversation and guiding teenagers toward a Jesus-centered life!!
We are really excited about kick starting this and involving the parents
as they will be updated weekly on what their
teenagers are learning about.

Come join us each week as we gather for fun, fellowship and life applying devotions. We're convinced that there is nothing more exciting than being a Christian teenager…living and doing the "Word" every day!
Our purpose is to have all 6th -12th graders experience the love of Jesus Christ and to serve Him with all of their hearts. Our mission is to teach them to be missionaries for Christ in every aspect of their lives...in their community and abroad.
Every Sunday evening we gather in the Youth House for a time of fun-filled activities and games, regardless of weather! Then we split into Middle School and High School groups for devotions that are "life applicable." We truly feel that the best way to learn the Bible is to live the Bible in your daily walk with Christ.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study

FBC Mebane has been blessed with wonderful youth leaders that want to see the youth of today to be the Bible that the world sees…every day! Our Wednesday night Bible studies are more intense and more in-depth than the life application devotions offered on Sunday evenings. In these studies you will learn not only the Scripture lesson, but also the context in which it was written. We meet at the Youth House each Wednesday, September through May, at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about our God and His Word. We would love to have you come join us each week!
Summer Camp at Ft. Caswell: July 23-28!!!
Excitement builds from January to June as our teenagers await our annual trip to Ft. Caswell on one of North Carolina's finest beaches. This week-long adventure, for 6th - 12th graders, is fun-filled, and
action-packed with daily sporting and leisure activities and combined with morning and evening Bible study. It is here each year that friendships are forged and relationships with Christ are born!
This trip fills up fast!! A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to accurately estimate for transportation. For more information, come by the office!

Deep Impact Missions Weeks are pre-packaged week long mission experiences sponsored by NC Baptist Men that provides Middle and High School students with the opportunity to: “Share God's love with hurting people through word and deed.” Youth will participate in a variety of mission opportunities including construction, VBS/Day Camps, sports evangelism, servant evangelism, prayer walks, and others. Morning devotions and worship each evening will help students reflect on their lives and commit themselves to serving others in Christ’s name.

t Virginia Mission Trip
July 6-14!!!
Reaching others for Christ is one of our main goals at FBC Mebane. Each year our youth go on an 8-day mission trip to the upper Appalachians in West Virginia to conduct a Vacation Bible School, and follow-up with a "side trip" in the fall and spring. Teamwork is the theme for success each year and great attitudes are "priceless" as our teenagers lead others to Christ through preaching and teaching His Word to those who would otherwise not have the opportunity to hear His message. Preparation and commitments to this trip begin in January each year for this summer trip, so get it on your calendar now if you would like to join us next year!
Youth Praise Band and Youth Choir
Do you sing in the shower or with the radio while riding in the car? Can you play an instrument? Are you looking for a place to use your talents where you can make a difference in people's lives? Then come join our Youth Praise Band or Youth Choir! The Youth Praise Band meets every Monday night at 6:45 p.m. for practice in the sanctuary. This talented group participates in many areas of worship in our church, including our 11:00 a.m. Praise & Worship Service. Our Youth Choir also touches many people through their music. They meet every Sunday, September through May, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. If you like to sing with a larger group, then this is the group for you!
