Music
Throughout the Bible, God instructs us to worship Him through song.  God created us as His companions, and gave us voices and talents that are intended to bring glory to Him.  Each of us, regardless of talent or training, is an instrument of praise.  We grow in our walk with Christ through prayer, study of the scriptures, and worshiping together with our fellow believers.  Through the hymns and songs of worship, we draw nearer to God as a congregation by glorifying our one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Members of the choirs at First Baptist Church of Mebane give their time and talent to lead others in worship.  Our leaders provide instruction and training to all age groups and in a wide variety of musical styles.  Whether you prefer the simple, stirring sounds of the Handbells, the energy of the Praise Team or the splendor of the Chancel Choir, there is a place for you to serve in the Music Ministry at First Baptist Church of Mebane.  It is our prayer that you would join us in practice and, as Psalm 95:1 says, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation."

Stage Right Drama

Discovered among the hearts of members of our church was the fact that there were many thespians.  These good folk thoroughly enjoy sharing their talent for the cause of the kingdom of God.  They regularly produce, direct, and act in short skits and full length plays as a part of the mission of our church to reach people for Christ.  The church has been blessed by this ministry and the numbers of those participating has grown as it has matured.  If you would like to utilize your theatre talents, either onstage or backstage, by becoming a part of this group, call the church office for contact information.
